Steph

Our old mongrel Rex was in his 20's and he was deaf, blind, no sense of smell and when his back legs went it was the last straw, we took him to the vets and the vet said there was nothing he could do and there was only one option. My wife wanted to take him back home, thankfully the vet was braver than I am and he tore a strip off my wife. He told here she wasn't being kind that she was being cruel, that Rex was suffering every moment he was breathing. Thankfully she plucked up the courage to let him go. That was 20 years ago and we both still miss him today, after having him with us for over 20 years he was like one of the family.

There was a hell of a storm While I was in Tesco's. Then I bumped into Volty. After a long chat he was good enough to give me a lift home, Nice chap Volty, whatever Lyn sez.

this one is not my dog, but the dog that my other half inherited from his mom when she went into a care home and finally passed away, but i still come in and look after him whilst ken is at work, and of course it is left to me to take him to the vets and administer the drugs. it has been over two years since i had to have my own dog put to sleep and i still miss him. going out walking is not the same without him and there are certain walks that i just cant go on without having tears running down my face. i dont know how people can be cruel to animals when some of us are so soft.

I am off to town on the bus, there is a woman sitting behind me talking very loudly on her phone, that's one thing but after every sentence she has a stupid laugh, I think she may have to be me off the bus by paramedics.
