phil...i dont mind the thunder so much its the lightning i dont like..which takes me back again to my childhood..when we had bad storms our mom would close the curtains and if we happened to be eating dinner would make us put our knives and forks down in case they got struck...i just hid behind the settee

Not been back long, came back early to do a recovery vehicle wanted for the weekend. Just caught up with the old posts. Had a great relaxing few days, mowing lawns, making a gate,and generally mucking about.

Yes rubbish is always a problem, but if you invite thousands of people to visit your city then you have to expect this sort of thing. Where were the plastic police to hand out tickets for littering? Was anybody given a ticket for littering. I bet not because the Council don't want to drive people away.
Getting outta bed is one of the hardest challenges of the day.
