Good evening everyone. Back down to earth today. We went to Walsall today sorry to say probably for the last time. It is going down hill very fast. over past years one of the attractions has been the market. The market these days is very depleted and many shops have closed. there are only so many mobile phone accessory stalls any market can sustain. One thing I can say is that at least you can catch a bus into the centre of Walsall like most towns. Unfortunately from the 22nd of this month this luxury will not be available to the residents of our ONCE great city. (Another place to be avoided). Many shops in my opinion will disappear in Birmingham because of this travesty.

I haven't been to Walsall since my Aunt & Niece had the Peter Pan restaurant in the market there next door to the Supermarket. We did a job in the Saddler's Centre there and my Uncle and I used to nick over there for dinner each day. That has got to be a while now, I thought that at that time the town was very upbeat and it was thriving. It certainly was having a lot of work done because we were working there quite often.

Evening Phil, Walsall certainly isn't thriving right now.
