morning every one,

still wet but quite warm. in library at moment. quite enjoying using their computers and saving myself a lot of money by not subscribing to the internet etc at home.

hope every one is ok.

tried to clip the little yorkshire terrier that my partner and i have inherited from his mother. Perry is nearly 16yrs old, blind, losing his hair and a bit deaf. well, he was being washed and i was trying to clip him and hey ho i cut him. so off to the vets where he had to have two staples put in. because his skin is so thin we are hoping he will heal. I am a bit devasted and hope he is going to be ok. i know these things happen but you still feel awful.

I have used Savlon Antiseptic Cream on cats and rabbits (thin skin) wounds with excellent results.
Just a light application and rub it in, leaving none to be licked off.
Check with a vet. Other antiseptic creams may be available. Ts & Cs apply.

I used to use E45 cream on my old english sheepdog, it worked wonders.

I wash him under the shower in the wet room, the only trouble is he thinks its a game and its me that ends up having the shower.

Den if you can very carefully trim a bit of hair from around her rear end it can save a lot of problems.

The main problem we had with our old english was vehicles. If I walked past a bus stop and a bus stopped he would drag me on. If a car door opened he would jump in he took a lot of people by surprise, he jumped in someones boot once while they were taking their shopping out. Yes he was always on his lead and was obedience trained. He was also very strong and very determined.
