Lyn

Today is one of the days that we take the great grandson to school and pick him up again at 12 0 clock, so I was out of the house at 7.30 picking him up from home. I agree that it is cold, but it's still a lovely morning, at least you can wrap up against the cold. It's that snow and rain I can't stand.

Yes Volty and it seems like - 10 in the wind.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

It's just gone to -1c and there is a blizzard.
I can barely see across the road the snow is so heavy, and it's sticking.

As for someone trying to lay the law down in my house about what I can and cannot do, well I'm afraid they would soon be shown the door no matter what they were there for. Nobody who lives in my house or that visits it smokes, but if somebody said that I couldn't then I would light up my first one since July 2004.

Well here is a situation... I have just been round to a neighbours house to repair something they need to use tonight.
Although I brought it home to fix on my bench I still spent ten minutes in their house, certainly no longer than that.
They are very nice people but they smoke, and even though they don't smoke while I am there the fumes are still in the air and the fabrics.
Now I am at home the horrible ashtray smell is on me very strongly. I will have to go for a shower now and change my clothes.

So, in order to help out some nice people I have to suffer myself.

Volty

To bring a little joy into someones like we sometimes have to suffer a little ourselves. So suck it up and be glad you could bring a little happiness into someones life.
