It was around 1964 when I was working for my old man when he converted The Manzil from Morgans Sausages, did I laugh when he never got paid at the end of the job.

Lyn

No I did work on the conversion, but the film would have been taken a good 12 months later. As SB said there was more chance of my being inside having a curry.

Rather appropriate advert for one of Lyn's posts below (because of her interests SB, not because you are a cat):

hi everyone,

no snow over this way yet, but very cold. sun been out today and managed to dry some washing on the line. I m probably going off piste a bit (my age i think) but referring back to whether phil was in the bham film, there is a postcard of chester taken in 1948, if anyone knows chester there is the famouse landmark of the black and white rows with a rounded corner, well at the foot of the rows is a picture of a man and a woman pushing a pram, well its me in the pram and my mom and dad pushing it, i do have a copy.

seen on news today that staffordshire has snow. ice grips are being sold in the works in redditch for about £4.00 dont know whether other branches will be selling them.

anyone know if a bus service runs into the trading centre that the erdington go outdoors is on. i can get a train from redditch to erdington but not sure if can get bus to go outdoors,

I buy the countrywalking magazine and a nice feature on lichfield, saying how nice it is to walk round it.

before i forget, hi to everyone that is new, i noticed quite a few have joined.
