Why not use one of those non drip rollers with the long handles, then you only need the step ladders for the tricky bits. You know the ones that somebody id always keen to point out that you have missed.

Its as black as a Badgers bum outside, our solar lights have come on an hour early.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

It's a wonder they haven't floated away, hows the new pool walls standing up to it, we don't need a second demonstration of the Eider Dam effect.

No we don't, the new pond is holding out ok thanks. I have been trying to catch some of the bigger fish from some of the other ponds. Every time I pick up my net the fish laugh and disappear.

I don't know where this reference to First Day of Summer has come from, I even heard it on Chris Evans show this morning, but it is time for Mid Summers Day.

The longest day (Summer Solstice) is 21st June
Mid Summers Day is 24th June

So assuming first day of summer is 21st and mid summer is 24th then last day of summer is 27th June.

Enjoy your 7 days of summer, people. Only 358 days until we can do it again.
