afternoon all, not been on here for some time been very busy.

have now got myself caught up in rearing a fledgling magpie, i know some people dont like them but we are trying to rear him. although his parents and the rest of the family sit in the tree most of the day and talk to him and chase the cats away. his flying is getting better and i am sure it wont be long before he can manage to clear the fence, only skimming across the lawn at the moment but getting higher by the day. we manage to take him in at night and keep in warm in a card board box. the hollytrees rescue centre have been advising us on what to do with him.

apart from that the usual taking the grand children to their usual clubs and cleaning.

my son is getting married in august and i am finding it difficult to find a nice wedding outfit, trouble is you just dont know what the weather is going to be like and i certainly dont want to be cold.

regards to everyone. must get up to lichfield again as its a lovely city.

Just returned. Was a very pleasant day. did not get to look over the castle, which my mother would have liked, as it is not accessible to wheelchairs, but found thet have a real fish and chip shop that cooks in dripping, and whose owner seems to take care with his food. He commented that he had to experiment and change the cooking of the batch of chips that day as the potatoes he had just recieved were different, due to the recent weather. Well recommneded if youa re in the area (http://www.thepotandfin.co.uk/) . And theyn had a pleasant little market.
