I've been to a few pub closures in my time, before time it was half price beer and full price for bottles and spirits but those that were going to be locked in later paced themselves because after they locked the doors all the beer in the barrels and all the spirits in the optics suddenly became free.

I'll have you know I was known in most pubs in Birmingham and welcome in them all. I only ever got asked to leave one pub and that was when I was sixteen. Though I have seen a few of my locals close in my time.

Can I just say that we have a new member "Brookieboy" he is having difficulty in navigating the site. He has introduced himself on his profile site if you want to pop along and read a little bit about him and say hello. I'm sure that he will settle in and eventually get used to the way the site runs, but can I ask you all to proffer a helping hand especially as I will not be here next week to do so.
