good morning all, its not been a good day today, bit chilly 17c - first time this year for a long sleave shirt, went into melb to our huge open market, i love it, my part of the deal is I pull the jeep, wife buys me hot american style donuts and coffee, fair swap i reckon
but the day got worse, i have medical power of attorney for an 86yr od lady to whom im not related, I got called to the hospital 2am this morning - then in the afternoon today I had to make a choice - let her die in the next 3 days or go for an op which was a touch and go thing as she weighs 34 kgs -I never thought it would be so hard, she was saying no, but i had final say
so a really gut renching thing, so soon for me after coming to the UK in dec for my brother who didnt make it
anyway as luck would have it I went for the op, and shes pulled through at 10pm tonight, so the day finally turn out ok
as is often said in this forum, u dont always realise just how lucky we are
have a nice weekend
