Volty and I are off to The NEC next month to The Warley model Railway Exhibition, I for on will once again be like a kid in a sweet shop. When I retire I can start building my model railway.

I have a good start, around 35 locomotives and tons of everything else. What I need now is tons of time. When I finish work, hopefully very soon I will get started.

With that much stuff youll need a layout the size of a football pitch.

The idea is to build it in sections like a moveable exhibition layout, then put it together in the garden for running days with friends. ( I must have some somwhere.).

Good idea but it's still going to be a big project ,but once finished be something worth taking a look at ,your friend's will be queueing up to see it.
