I don't like to think how warm it would get if it was on for longer.
Hot wires wrapped in a soft insulating material placed against soft insulating flammable sheets is a recipe for disaster, the heat just builds up with nowhere to go.
Always unplug it before getting into bed.

Chuck it out it is damaged, smells, makes a noise, works intermittently, feels too hot to touch or is pink, white or blue.

hi Volty, it is supposed to warm up quickly, it has various settings and only gets as warm as you want it to. Usually it is set just to take the chill off, but thanks for the advice.

Don't know mate ,but jan's computer was playing up the same night ,it may have been because we had heavy torrential rain ,caused local flooding in a few places round here ,could been water in the works.
