I always thought our licence money went straight to the BBC,but it dos'nt ,it goe's to the government and they give the BBC what they think they need,so that probably has a lot to do with it .

Don't forget the BBC also Broadcasts to the world, on radio with the world sevice, in umpteen different languages and television too.
