It's hammering down with rain here at the moment. It's very quiet on here does that mean we are dying I wonder that would be a sad shame.
Mind you I have thought that before a few times. Still we have kept going for seven and a half years that's more than a lot can say. Anyway we will see.

Good evening anyone. We have just got back home from a nice day out visiting Cambridge Botanic Gardens. A really nice place, although I much preferred Birmingham Botanical gardens. But what the hell I liked the both anyway.

Definitely old fashioned. Whilst I work in Imperial for most things, i.e something might be 3 feet 2 inches and 3mm long, temperature is always in Celsius/centigrade because it makes more sense.

102F = 475C ?

Good evening, yes Lyn this heat is a killer. Last night I went to bed at around ten as we get up early and I was still awake around an hour later. So I came back down and watched catchup TV until 1.30 then I was really tired so I went off to bed and slept straight away. When I say went to bed I mean on top of it. I havn't been able to get in it for around 3 nights.

same here sb...ive been kipping downstairs for three nights..much cooler but still very humid..upstairs is a nighmare

I have been in the conservatory most evenings, but during the day the temperature has been up to 108f, far too much for me. After 4 Oclock its in the shade and settles at a mere 90.
