Good morning all

Nice fresh morning again, I suppose I will have to brave it to take the mutt for a walk, and when I get back with her I will take the dog for his.

John

Was you that close to the edge or did you use a telephoto lens?

Lyn

I don't know what you are talking about, we have got the granddaughter's dog staying for a few days.

Good morning everyone, it's a right murky foggy time in Brummytown. Did you have a good evening Phil, I didn't hear any sirens.
Found myself with areal good chest infection this morning, I usually get one after a cold. this time it arrived without a cold, perhaps that got delayed. It must be coming by post.

This is how mine started this time SB, no cold symptoms just straight into the gurgling and dificulty breathing. I waited til the horrible smell and taste appeared then started on some antibiotics I bought in Spain.
The only time I need a doctor is when I am not fit enough to go and visit him, he won't come to me so I have to look after myself. I woke up in hospital one year, actually made it (was carried) to the quacks then things went from bad to worse in the waiting room and he called an ambulance.
They say come in and sit in the waiting room for four hours and we will see you as an emergency or make an appointment for next week. What use it that to someone who is turning blue amd has halucinations?

You need to get an outside job, it hardens you against colds, I rarely suffered with colds when I was working. I did have the occasional bout of Flu but I soon learnt that an inoculation would help prevent that and they were not very expensive. Now I am considered an at risk patient I get them free at one time I wouldn't have bothered going to the doctors for it because I didn't have the time. Now as I have to report to the Doctor a minimum of four times a year I have both the flu jab and the pneumonia jab. Well why not?

Lyn,

I had a very nice time last night, we went for a meal with some old friends to a local restaurant. It was quite difficult to book the time of year, but we managed. It was just a traditional English meal roast beef with all the usual trimmings accompanied by a nice bottle of wine, one of the Pinot Noir family, well I think it was because I'm not sure of the name but it was a very dark red wine. As we were guests I didn't think it polite to ask.

Blue is my favourite colour Bernie, but I do some others. shades of red for instance.

Working outside does help with colds as Phil said but I don't think it does much for chest infections . Can you buy anti biotics without prescrition in Spain then Volty , what about the doseage or do they leave it to your own discression .
