Congratulations e-bay. i have just received my latest batch of "personalised recommendations... Tailored for you" The last one did include a couple of subjects i might buy books n, but seemed to concentrate more on womens dresses and knickers. Today their "tailoring" has succeeded in producing a list which succeeds in not including any items i would ever be likely to buy from them . I have no interest in alice in wonderland, beatrix potter, nintnedo, MP3 players, key pendants, G-star t-shirts (whatever they may be), River island dresses, silk scarves, Ben 10 toys, in the night garden toys, india, ireland, or birds : I positively despise people who think that Ray-Ban sunglasses are anything other than an affectation of morons and take great exception to it being claimed that I would ever indulge in catching fish on a jagged hook, not to (sensibly) eat them, but so as to throw the bleeding (in a polite way) creature back in the water. I know i'll probably get some flack for the last comment on the list, but I do think it takes a great deal of skill to recommend a personalised list 100% of which is of no interest

Apart from popping to the shops, had to take some stuff to the local church for the wife, clean the pond filter, put up some draught excluders in the Rabbit house, put a few garden ornaments away for the winter and get some things down from the loft that the wife wanted. It's been an easy day.?

Well I can see you've been fairly busy but do stop sending Volty favorites lists from e bay or at leat leave the Raybans of it

Why can't they have Christmas at a respectable time of the year, somewhere around June or July would do. Even better stagger it at different times for different sections of England. Then perhaps we could get to do our shopping in decent weather and the shop wouldn't be so crowded.

I'm only into my second week of Christmas shopping and I've had enough already. I ask you to note that I did everything I had got to do in the first week, but its the other half. I'm sure every year she is shopping for more (well I suppose that is true). Do you know she is actually looking for a present for Zane now.

You may gather from my rant that I have just got back from yet another shopping trip.

I was intrigued by an announcement in Sainsburys over the tannoy yesterday. "Your chance to get an early christmas present" From this it seems that they think we're going to give a present on 25th and also an early one a bit earlier.
They'll be lucky !
