It's not so easy without bacon.
Sometimes I do scrambled eggs on toast because that is quick, then I stand in the kitchen and eat it before it goes cold.

That's right, Bacon's the name of my servant boy.
Cook doesn't get here until 11am. The Gardener brings her round in the Limo.

It's 11°c outside, that's eleven degrees warmer than this time on Monday, quite a difference.

You are all "bonkers" any stranger reading this thread would think he had landed in a funny farm. Can we have some decorum please (whatever that means).

Mrning all...yes it is a bit warmer..........the drops on me nose did not turn to ice when I went into the kitchen this morning.

Hero.........yes Oxford is a very famous uni.............many years ago my husband managed to get an interview for a place there but he was turned down.He went to Liverpol uni and had a wonderful time as Liverpool had lots going on in the seventies so no regrets.

In fact he and his uni friends have so many reunions....they live in the past LOL

Well I got into a mess with my car and mad at the AA.

The operator said I had to get hold of a tyre before they would come out to put it on.Then gave me a lecture on not having a spare..............it is illegal.

Told him I was aware of that but who expects two flats in the space of a few weeks after not having one for years ??

I have been with the AA for years and I am roadside relay so now after the event could have asked for that but as he was so busy lecturing me I hung up on him.

I have had great service off the AA over the years but may not renew with them next time.

I help pay his wages .......what happened to customer is king ??

Denise

It is sod's law that you will get another puncture while you spare is in being repaired. I was in the RAC for years but they just kept putting the price up year after year. I moved to one of the cheaper services and for half the price I was getting a better and more efficient service because it used local breakdown services.

For the last five years I have paid £16 a month at my bank for an account that also gives, free top end breakdown cover for your cars, fee travel insurance, free household appliance breakdown insurance, free services breakdown (including boiler) free debit card & credit card insurance and a host of other things. The thing that annoys me most about it is, since having it I have never had to use it. So I can't comment on how good it is or how good its not.
