Just got back from Hastings.
Can't see how they can save this without a massive input of cash, they still don't know if the owner (in Panama) has it insured, not been in touch for years.

I don't like anonymous notices, it's probably been posted by a member of the town council trying to fire people up into donating money. So they can get it reinstated then charge businesses a fortune in rent & rates for stall space.

It is a shame about the pier though, we seem to be loosing them at a tremendous rate.
