It always seem to be the way that these sort of times in our life's come in clusters. I lost my father, an uncle and someone who though not part of the family was looked on as a brother all within a week or so of each other.

It's so strange Phil, I often wonder why I am not so bitter, the goldfish died, the rabbit died, the dog died ,Yvonne died, and then my mother died, all within 6 months in 1980, that was a bad year for me.

I don't think I will lighten the mood tonight as I am in a mood.

The beloved moaned about me watching Inspector Morse and says he can't watch what he wants to watch,soI gave him the remote and come up here to compute...bet he will be asleep when I go back down or recording something he will never watch.............

I learnt years ago never to argue with a woman about the choice of TV channels in fact at one time we had six televisions in the house it was my way of getting to see what I wanted. We have three now and I hardly watch television at all. What annoyed me the most was if I wanted to watch something she didn't, she always got her way. As soon as one of the kids and later the grandkids wanted something on. Then over it went.

Well we have two sets now and the second is in our bedroom but it is only a small one as as I am getting older I can hardly see it......time for a new one I reckon.

For the bedroom, get a flat screen one and fix it to the ceiling. It saves all those cricks in the neck.
