It was'nt so much the secateurs ,its the crows and magpies ,that come to the bird table.

Bought some nice Lupin plants at the Botanical Gardens yesterday and a real healthy looking Acer from Tesco's today. I can't wait to get them in now.

Weather is suppose to be good tomorrow and monday lots to do in the garden ,we will wait and see.

The next week will see very little rain and temperatures will rise. Next Sunday it will be 25c
Perhaps the newly budding roses will recover from the battering they had yesterday.

I think most plants took a battering yesterday Voltsperson. we were in an Italian restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. The heavens opened, we wasn't going to but as it was chucking it down we had a sweet. very nice it was too. The rain eased off just after so we left.

the seeds must be blowing from the fields

Two doors up from us ,he dos'nt do a thing to his garden, so you can imagine, its just a weed patch ,so we have similar problems.
