Gardening Today

#1 by Sheldonboy , Sun Jan 25, 2015 6:31 pm

Had a good afternoon outside today. Got more of a large Pyracantha cut back and actually finished. Not bad for the end of January, I was ok until the sun went down and then the temperature dropped. I eve had an audience, the police helicopter was hovering not far away, I reckon they was having a look to see how it should be done.

If they are on your borders they are a great bit of security.

Even better, that's the same with us. Even though it's still January I really enjoyed making a start on this years Garden work. Until the temperature dropped anyway.

I nearly forgot we also bought two new Coleus plants, different variety's I aim to put them in the same pot. The result could be interesting as they merge.

Now I am enjoying retirement, I spent the entire day in the garden. I just hope I don't go to seed.[Big Laugh]

Planted some Alicante toms in a gro bag, now I just have to remember to water them everyday.

Leave yourself a note on the wine rack, or somewhere you visit regularly.
