Had a mate who went to live in canada,they have a lot of snow there every year ,but it never stops anything.

jo its bad every year without fail...think it was minus 32 last year and once the snow starts it does not stop...mind you they are prepared for it and the snow ploughs are out even on what we would call our side roads...

Dont know how brum' copes these days ,but in telford and wrekin ,if it's more than 2 inches everything seems to stop, and most of the schools close ,it's ridiclous really.

You wouldnt remember the winter of 47 , I was at school ,despite all the snow we still had to go every day.
