While I can't blame the Scots wanting Independance and not wanting to be governed by our pathetic Whitehall masters. I do think that breaking up the UK would be a mistake.
What would be more use would me a greater turnout at elections with more people taking an interest in things that affect them in their everyday lives instead of moaning about the governments actions that they couldn't be bothered to vote for.

there is a bit of chatter going on her re scotland - from our republicans would prefer we dropped the commonwealth. We were chatting about tonight at the gyn, a lot of UK citizens have EU passports. If scotland did pull out of the UK they would no longer be a part of the EU (im guessing) so they could not hold EU passpots and I assume not UK either??? just a thought

Also I think I may have said before. If the Jocks vote for Independence then I will never visit Scotland again. It's a beautiful country and I love the place. But if the Scots vote to dump us I would never go and support them. There are many other places to visit.

Went there once camping ,tried to buy a packet of corn flakes,it took nearly half an hour,and then I come away with a bag of porridge ,I didnt understand a word the shopkeeper was saying ,she didnt understand brummie either. Would'nt mind but the kids didnt like porridge I had to eat it all.

I must say that Scotland is an absolutely fabulous place. The Highlands is anyway. A wonderful country. But a yes vote for Independence will keep me away for good

The scenery is stunning ,but if your camping the flies come out at dusk,you need plenty of insect repellant,or a bottle of there whiskey.

I tried Haggis once. It was OK but nothing to base a national identity on.
It's like very rich sausage meat in a sinewy plastic bag.
Memorable but not repeatable.
