Dragon fly's we had on flying around our works recently i was surprised just how big it was. This one looked more like a cartoon helicoptor.

cant enlarge it gra...when i click on the pic its saying error file not available..

Thanks, I got that picture on my phone camera. It's a Samsung, great camera, Rubbish phone.

Put 2 new nest boxes up saturday for the wild birds ,sparrows and great tit's all ready looking ,a friend told jan put them up now and birds will use them to roost in the bad weather, and for nesting next spring ,we wait and see.

This character and his/her family stayed with us for a while a couple of years ago. Proper Hedgehog food too.

We had great tits nesting a couple of years back,but nothing last year, hopefully it may be next year,at the moment we seem over run with sparrows ,counted 6 argueing over the bird bath this morning ,and they seem to be stocking up for winter.
