Good bit of history there Lyn, I did hold my breath wondering who his partner in crime was. Lovely pic, the pub was just down the street from our grans.

Doe's that hampton street come on to great hampton row? as I worked at a place there for 5 years.

Jo, Hampton St. comes out on Tower St. but very near to Gt.Hampton Row, so it would be the right one.

Thanks lynne worked at fredrick restalls ,I was only a kid at the time,the men who were old enough, use to go to that pub dinner time's

jo im sure i remember restalls on gt hampton st..think they were there when i worked in vyse st early 70s

The gaffer was a decent sort,got killed in a sking accident,his son's took over and only wanted the money,sold it off bit by bit.Now there's nothing left.
