I don't like tomatoes , other than as a constituent in quantities that do not make the product taste excessively of them, and I'm not one of those people who think eating is anything to do with the food having a pretty, fey look a la-some pratt in a silly hat, so it doesn't really effect me. The product seems to be a way of producing anthocyanins easily and cheaply (??!!). If that is so then they could be useful in the diet , but I have my doubts that they will be a cheaper source than natural fruit such as blueberries, but I my be wrong there, and would guess they will almost certainly be quite expensive. If that is so it will just be a way of silly people finding other ways to spend money for no good reason , like in the ridiculously large areas of boots, John Lewis etc devoted to acres of useless smelly expensive potions which the buyers think make them more beautiful, but , in many cases just make them look like an over-aged call girl (as seen on many of the assistants in these areas) . I suppose there's nothing wrong with over-aged call girls if you like that sort of thing, but the money could far better be used for something else.

Purple carrots, which is their original colour, have exactly the same benefits, you won't find them in the supermarket though.
