So sad to see the old beehive like that, when I was a kid a old lady who lived two doors up from us use to ask me friday night to get her 2 bottles of nourishing stout, the beehive had a side entry which ran right down to terrace road ,so we did'nt have to go on the main roads, she use to give me 3 pence each time I went, happy days, and let me have the money off the empties..
My sister's first job when she left school was at Dennisons the factory next door.
jo you are quite right of course about terrace road...i noticed that when i went round the back way..how strange it that because in the past few days your sister is the second person ive heard of whos first job was at dennisons..and yes it is so sad to see the pub in such a state..
Use to live near the beehive ,the grove of villa road it was opposite terrace road ,but it's all knocked down now ,use to run errands to the beehive outdoor there was a entry from terrace road through to the beehive ,don't suppose it's there anymore, they were happy days.
