Yes SB, I saw it last night.
I have questions but won't name anyone in the open.
Do you have anymore of these?

What was the name of the underground pub with the lunchtime buffet?
I think it was somewhere just off Corporation Street.

No Mike, that doesn't sound familiar.
I'm wondering if it was over the side road from Yates Wine Lodge, but I don't remember where that is either.

I think it was somewhere just off Corporation Street.

One underground pub was the Parisienne in Cannon Street opposite Camera House, another was the Tavern in the Town by the Odeon in New Street, blown up by th IRA, the Costermonger was by the Oasis market off Lower Bull Street.
Yates Wine Lodge as I recall was at the lower end of Corporation Street opposite C+A. Very Close to the Birmingham Mail office which I am almost sure had its press rooms in the Basements at the back in Cannon Street. This is where the Parisienne was situated after the Mail built its new offices in Colmore Circus in the early 1960s.

Parisienne is the one.
I suppose both the Parisienne and Camera House are gone?

Oh yes both pub and shop disappeared years ago. In fact the Camera house building was toally rebuilt they kept the facade and demolished the rest of the builldind behind it. That is where the Windsor* is to be found now. The Windsor does food too.
