Hi .
I'm new to the forum and browsing through saw this picture taken at the Chestnut tree near Garretts green tech where i did my radio and tv city and guilds from 68 -70.
I hope it's ok to ask this way but i think the guy i've circled may be an old freind i knew at the CO-OP tv dept in Whitmore rd Small heath.
We last met up in the late 70's when i fitted a new engine in his VW golf. By then i was living in Hampshire where i still am.
His name is Dave Earp and it would be great if someone can help me identify him from the photo.
Cheers
Chris
(KOOLIE)
Hi Koolie and a great big welcome from me.
Just for your information Garretts Green College was demolished recently and the site is now occupied by a load of very cheap housing. I know the area quite well I have lived very close all of my life.
I will have at look at your picture.

[[File:image.jpg|none|auto]]SB, this is the picture in question it's the one you posted of the Nuts staff, early seventies.
Does the name Dave Earp, or anything similar ring any bells?

Sheldonboy The Ringway was the best night club in Birmingham not only my opinion. It was on Bromsgrove Street which ran between Bristol Road and somewhere else can't remember crossing Hurst St. The Mexi was on the same side but further down Sheldon was a long way from the real world but I suppose you did have the Cabin been in there not bad. Only a joke.

The Cabin, Sheldon Heath Road. Scuse me chum but you wiped your feet on the way out of there.

Thanks Lyn Sheldonboy was the cabin the Radleys or does that come under Sheldon sorry don't know
The Cabin was on the Radleys end of The Sheldon Heath road. I was head barman in the early seventies of The Chestnut tree down at the Garrets Green end.
