I don't know about Nationally but certainly Brums plans are sorted in Bristol. Probably so it's harder to go and complain. But if they are rejected they are almost always passed on appeal.

So much for local input and objections , how do they keep control of green belt , or do you mean only brownfield sites passed on appeal

If it was possible to get planning officers to attend our meetings when requested I would ask the question for you Bernie, as it is almost totally impossible to get near a live one it makes things very difficult.

It's amazing how little we know about how things work until we try to get involved in protesting or changing them , and it seems that they are not accessible to the public at large in most cases . The other thing is that what appears to be a cast iron case morally is often anything but legally and generally the law is on the side of the scumbag .
