Sad news of Sir Patrick Moore, he always came across as a nice man.


Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity,
and I'm not sure about the former.

My mother would not agree with you SB. She worked in a shop in chichester and always said that when he brought his mother into the shop he was the rudest man she had ever met. But then he wasn't trying to impress the punters then

I didn't know the man and I didn't watch his programmes much, but as Mike says, I formed the opinion that he could be pretty brusque when he wanted to. Still it's bad form to speak ill of the dead, but I suppose well be reading next week about all the young girls that he assaulted.
