I have just heard of the death of an entertainer and a fine man that my mother loved dearly RIP Max Bygraves

I was never a huge fan but he was a popular entertainer in his day.RIP.

He was good at what he did, but can't say that after I became over 12 years old he particulalry appealed to me. He always reminded me of the guy who does DIYSOS and that awful quiz , Secret fortunes, on the national lottery show. I often thought that guy was probably Max Bygraves secret grandson

I think Max only appealed to certain age groups, young children and pensioners, but he has to be remembered for the amazing amount of good work he did for charity. Max who lived in Bournemouth for most of his life was well known and liked by the locals who wouldn't have a word said against him.
