Table Top Sale at St Edburghas Church in aid of the church restoration appeal.

I think I'll give it a miss, I've got all the table tops I need.

Worth going to have a look at the Church, it has an amazing history.

Well if the need should arise then at least you know where to go.
On a related subject, how are you off for car boots?

Didn't know cars wore boots?

I've been amusing my self by comparing these two views of the Coventry Road looking toward the Swan.
Coventry Road at Yew Tree Lane on Google

Unfortunately the old photo is a bit small and pixellates when magnfied.

To be quite honest Volty I don't even know why it is there, because you can still turn left even if you head for the island and when you are approaching this junction for the first time it can be a bit confusing. Though to have caused that much damage the vehicle that hit it must have been travelling at speed.

Volt

I thought these might interest you, another photo of Swiss Cottage and one of Scone Cottage at the junction of Flavell's Lane & Church Rd or should I say Long Causeway?

Thanks Phil,
I've seen them both as it happens, probably the same book as yours.
The second is Scone Cottage, or Gone cottage as it is now and a view down the upper straight part of what was Flavells Lane from the Yew Tree.
