RE: Re: Favourite Toys - 5
This is the place where Brummies used to chat about Birmingham old and new along with anything else that interests us.
We have Quizzes, Pizzas, Local History, News, Politics, Wedding Cake, Plum Pudding, Champagne, Easter Eggs and, above all, Respect for our fellow members.
Their range is so wide it is hardly surprising they have a large market.
Most of their stuff is based on movies and the like whilst most of these are just plastic figures. What any of this has to do with a construction set I don't know. Anyone would think this was a kids toy. What I do know is that if you want to buy a large quantity of straight forward old fashioned single colour and transparent building bricks, then you will have to buy them second hand because the sets are woefully inadequate. I had an urge to go mad and buy loads of bricks earlier this year, I lost interest when I found Lego don't sell them on their own any more, you have to buy a set where half of the claimed "pieces" are premade figures and ornaments and a lot of the "bricks" are a single pip.
