phil the pic of the shops bought back memories to me as my aunt and nan lived in bell lane just round from the radleys..if memory serves me right the bus terminus was just round the corner from there complete with the clocking in clock of course...also remember the bell inn..as far as i know its still up and running...

Lyn Tile Cross bus terminus is still there minus the clock although its for the 17 bus now. The 14 which used to stop there goes on, I think th Chelmsley Wood via Marston Green.

Thanks Phil I recommend anyone from Brum and the 14 Bus route area to take a look. I noticed at Tile Cross the old Malt house pub, of course now long gone.

The only pity is that it was filmed of an evening and it is pretty dark in places. If it had been filmed a midday on a bright summers day it would have been great.

image 1 is Mackadown Lane in 1967, and i think image 2 is the railway tunnel in Mackadown Lane where the scrap yard is now situated, leading up to the Radleys

right, found a bit more info, image one is not mackadown lane , the flats in the background on a high hill comfirm this, and image two is on the Radleys, not Mackadown lane , they are very close though!!!. image below is tile cross road 1964. i live 10 seconds walk from here!!!
