At first I thought the news reports were about 12 footballers on a coach, I couldn't understand how they got it into a cave.
In reality it is one moronic football coach and twelve small boys.
They are well into a flooded cave system, almost certainly without any of the equipment one would need to survive for just one day let alone eight rainy days and counting.
I can't read it without getting a tight chest as it reminds me of going caving on Outward Bounds. I got trapped between the roof and the floor of a cave on the edge of an underground lake, fortunately there was one adult caver to every three of four of us lads, so I was never in much danger, didn't seem like it at the time though. We were only allowed down there because the weather forecast was good, with no rain expected, and even then we had to wade through water at chin height.

And, as I understand it, the local authorities had given warnings about floodings. though if it was organised by someone to do with football then it is not very surprising

All found alive thankfully, now they just have to get them out.

If the passage through the water is open enough they could build a watertight pod, just big enough for one kid, and bring them out one at a time in it. No need for diving lessons.

On the midday news today a diver lost his life taking supplies to these boys ,apparently he ran out of oxygen ,if that fool of a coach had,nt done what he has that man could still be alive.

All out apart from some of the rescuers.
