I hadn't heard about it till I saw your link. From the report it seems to be the side of Basingstoke nearest me, but it would be about 20 miles from me. Looking on streetview all the gas explosions that have occurred in the last few years seem to have benn in places of about this age (I would guess 20-25 years old, yet not older buildings - or maybe these are the only ones I've noticed.
