I see now that the Boss of Network Rail is in line for a tidy cash sum.
"So what" you say.
Network rail receives a £4 bn state cash subsidy. When most people can't afford to travel on our overcrowded trains.
I can't wait to hear what Mike thinks of this one.


Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have spent most of life trying to save.

Maybe he could use it to pay the large fine imposed on Network Rail for causing the manslaughter of people due to poor maintenance of the track. I don't think they have assessed it yet, but it should be several million

There is no way in my View that Railways or main utilities should be in private hands.
How can you take a profit out of such a business and run it as a subsidised loss.
