Seeing this on the news gave me the same feeling Phil. but an hour later on the One show they did a bit on Malcolm Campbell and showed a picture of the first Bluebird that crashed before he got the world speed record in the next version. This was 50 years ago, and they reckon he crashed at about 300 mph (the fastest crash ever when no-one was killed - he "only" fractured his skull). The damage to all those Ferraris ( at 80 ?) seemed worse to me than the damage to the Bluebird at 300.
