Its a load of crap. In theory you could say the same about any roasted product. If you analysed almost anything down to the lowest concentration then you could probably find something that could be labelled as carcinogenic. There is no evidence that, at the levels of acrylamide present, there isn significant risk. If you followed this "warning", then you should also stop eating toast, chips, roast or fried meats, chocolate, ......, and probably also stop drinking anything that comes from roasted barley - whisky and genuine beers (as opposed to some of these awful american inventions that use little or no malt
