As I understand it this bridge was erected it around six hours to avoid disruption. That really paid off didn't it.

You have to be pretty thick to think a crack in a bridge is nothing to be concerned about, particularly one that hasn't even been up for a week.
Another case of floppy heads thinking they know everything.

How does a University get the right to bridge a public highway anyway?
If that's how the yanks are running Florida's infrastructure then the residents are even less safe than they think, not to mention the tourists.

And, if someone who is supposed to be an expert in something uses terms like basically, obviously, I think or whatever, they are not an expert, they are making it up as they go along.

Councils and universities care little about the truth when making statements or taking decisions. That has been shown by Grenfell Tower on this side of the Atlantic. Florida University is probably run by people who were good at baseball , football or similar useless pursuits, and in truth are only fit to sweep the streets, though probably wouldn';t do it as well as those already in the job

I have every respect for people who work hard for a degree, I know I couldn't do it. But a degree just proves that you can study and pass exams. Then the process of getting experience makes your career.
