So that will make the world a safer place then?

Screw the world.
As long as they are made in England, Wales or N.I. who cares what they do with them?

There is probably a wireless kill switch we can use in case they are turned on us or the arabs don't pay up.

All weapons sold abroad should have that insurance, like self sinking warships.

That sounds like any that are made in China.

I often wish all weapons would explode on firing. Teach everyone a lesson.

According to the Eye, the Saudi's only made a statement of intent to buy 48 Typhoon aircraft, they are under no more obligation now than before they made their contentious visit to the UK, except the statement generated some goodwill which they were badly in need of.

Even if the Saudi's do order the jets, which they don't currently need, the price might be somewhat lower as the industry is in decline.
The UK will only get a 37.5% share of the proceeds as it is a joint operation with Spain, Italy and Germany.

So BIG Deal.
