Planes are displayed really may hanging from the ceiling even massive V Bombers. It's a working RAF station as well as a terrific museum. It's also free to park and no entry fee.
Went over 20 years ago and mean to go again. Would be a bit of a walk from the station though if I remember. You can get some views of the exhibition and move around on google at https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.644374...!7i13312!8i6656. they;ve got more modern buildings since I went there
There are some new Hangars, yes Mike unfortunately Cosford is a mile or so from the station. I only got there because I was on a coach trip. We did Cosford, Blist Hill Museum (also worth a look) and Ironbridge. It was a good day but very wet.
