Can A President Shrink National Monuments?

#1 by Voltman , Mon Dec 04, 2017 10:55 pm

Well it seems if you are a Trump you can.
It might not have occurred to previous divisive presidents to carve out pieces of their great nation for business opportunities but it seems to be near the top of Mr Trumps list.
Who needs wilderness in this not very historic nation? Answer, nobody really, except perhaps the original residents, but then they don't count in the land of the gun toting morons of excess.

I am sure that Lord Ashcroft, and other conservative wheelers and dealers would love to do that to our national parks. Fortunately we are a little more sensible in this country (though not that much looking at the number of people still voting conservative)
