A damsel in distress? All I've got at present is a duck in aspic. Would that do for a start? I'm just trying to decide how to break the news of my award to my wife who is asleep and totally unaware of the honour

Phil, I was just living the dream. I've had five wonderful minutes and now you come on and wreck it all. This is the twentieth time today I've been destroyed. I fear it may become a permanent situation. I shall retire with my Horlicks and a magazine (Playboy perhaps) to consider my position.
