Parking League of Shame

#1 by phil ( deleted ) , Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:23 pm

I was reading in tonight’s Birmingham Mail how Birmingham Council has made £4.3 million from parking fines. I’m sorry if you were one of the ones that were fined, but in my opinion I don’t think enough tickets were issued.

Everywhere I go I see mass abuse of the parking regulations, at one time Ladypool Rd Sparkbrook was a no go area because of illegal parking on both sides of the road.

I think there are still areas where ticket wardens still stay away from because they do not even get a mention in this list of worse streets for parking offences.

Phil

1. Alum Rock Rd 3856 tickets
2. Stratford Rd Sparkhill 2478 tickets
3. Duchess Rd Ladywood 2203 tickets
4. Corporation St City 2139 tickets
5. Waterloo St City 1837 tickets
6. Alcester Rd Moseley 1610 tickets
7. St Pauls Square 1327 tickets
8. Fleet St City 1289 tickets
9. Gas St City 1259 tickets
10. Whittall St City 1198 tickets

Presumably all drivers are taught where to park and where not to park.
