Apparently the systems attacked were ones that did not implement their Microsoft security updates . If things went as they should there would be an awful lot of vacant posts coming up shortly in the computer sections of the NHS (and other affected organizations). But things do not go as they should

I read that Microsoft were charged with the Job of keeping the NHS computers clean, I understand that this contract ran out in 2015.
