We had a real jaunt today, we went off to Solihull, did a couple of jobs there then we caught a 71 bus to Sutton Coldfield we got caught in the traffic from Castle Bromwich to Castle Vale thus taking two hours from Solihull to Sutton. So when we got to Sutton we recovered over a nice Italian meal.

crikey sb that was bit of a jaunt...glad it ended up ok...

me and our kid went out trying to track down some old enders for this reunion we are hoping to do...after a tip off from someone that we may find this person in a certain pub...anyhow after about half an hour in he walks and orders his drink at the bar...i went up tapped him on the shoulder and said hey johnnie how about that bag of chips then...the look on his face was a picture....the story behind the bag of chips is that when i was about 16 and living in villa street johnnie knocked on our door and dad answered it....he asked our dad if he could take me to the chippy ...my ever protective dad told him in no un certain terms where to go its been 47 years since that day long time to wait for a bag of chips good thing was he keeps in contact with someone else we were searching for so a good day all round

God yes remember a six of chips. 20 bags for a pound.

We all used to say a bag of chips but I don't think I ever had them in a bag they were always wrapped up.

Evening all, see villa's out of the cup ,was to be expected, cold here today we had snow about 11 30 but it did'nt last long ,thank goodness. Hope you all had a good day.
