all good ideas jo...why make more work for ourselves i use the wood bark and if you put it down thick enough not many weeds get through...chill out i say... yes gra im enjoying the garden more this year...still enough to do to keep me occupied though..

Jan goes round with the hoe maybe once every 2 weeks ,she wont let me hoe she say's I might chop the top of her plant's as if .

I once hoed a lot of weeds up which turned out to be french marigolds ,saying no more.

Evening lyn ,in the pub playground almost opposite us, the rowan trees are full of berry's and they have already lost a lot of there leaves ,autumn is well on it's way

hi jo...at least the weather is still quite nice..my 2 lads are doing the train trip to the summit of snowdonia on sunday...i did it last year..
