Good evening Lyn and everyone. Not had a bad day. Had a check up n my knee. The Doctor at the hospital reckons I am doing very well and just keep taking the painkillers, which will go on for a while now. But it's only been nine weeks so far.

Evening All bad day today woke up this morning to nearly a tank full of dead fish
the heater thermostat was reading 80f the night before when i checked the tank
this morning it was 96f leaving me with just 4 fish i cant understand it was it a
power surge or what?

Sorry to hear that Astwood are your tank electrics on a surge protector. Best take advice before you put more fish in. I know they are only fish, but they are YOUR fish and you get used to them.

So sorry to hear about your fish tank ,use to keep tropical fish many years ago we had a power cut in the night if killed all mine ,never bothered after that .Will you re stock your tank.?

I had a good heater thermostat which is supposed to watch for these things
I have just bought a new german made model
